What a lovely holiday home is Cortijo el Caracol! This warm, atmospheric holiday home was built in 1999 as part of the former Cortijo Romero farmhouse. This holiday home with private pool and beautiful wide views is located in a charming courtyard with only three other houses. The garden is fully fenced and pets are welcome.
Feel like going out? The area offers plenty of possibilities. Bustling Malaga is just a 45-minute drive away. Closer by are the picturesque Spanish villages of Alcaucín and Canillas de Aceituno, where you can enjoy a coffee or a delicious meal in one of the cosy local restaurants. The popular resort of Nerja is also just a 45-minute drive away. For an unforgettable day trip, the beautiful cities of Seville, Granada, Ronda and Cordoba are highly recommended. Outside the hustle and bustle of the cities, you can fully enjoy the natural beauty of the Axarquía region.
LAYOUT CORTIJO EL CARACOL
Cortijo el Caracol has a warm, rustic atmosphere that immediately makes you feel at home. The spacious living and dining room has a cosy fireplace, a dining table, comfortable sofas and a television with Chromecast.
The well-equipped open kitchen is equipped with ceramic hob, oven, dishwasher, fridge-freezer, microwave, washing machine, dryer, tea, coffee and a bottle of wine. The house has two comfortable bedrooms with extra-long 220 cm beds and air conditioning. It shares an intermediate bathroom with bathtub/shower, washbasin, toilet and toiletries.
The house has WiFi, smoke detectors and a carbon monoxide detector.
OUTSIDE AT CORTIJO EL CARACOL
What a lovely outdoor life you will experience at Cortijo el Caracol. The garden measures 600m2 and is fully fenced. From your private pool you can enjoy fantastic views over the green surroundings. The spacious dining table is perfect for al-fresco dining and under the parasol by the lounge you can relax with a good book. Around the private pool are 4 comfortable sunbeds.
Nearby you will find a cosy restaurant, a bar and the characteristic Hotel Viñuela, where you can enjoy delicious local dishes with stunning views. For your daily shopping, there are supermarkets and shops a short distance away, both in Viñuela and in nearby Puente de Salia, where you can also enjoy atmospheric restaurants and terraces.

Homely house with lovely pool, comfortable mattresses and air-condition in every bedroom. Everything available for a weekeven longer stay. Pleasant quiet area. Car really necessary because of the rural location. Good roads. The area, cities and beach easy to reach. Within fifteen minutes nice restaurants where we really ate well. Communication with Host was very pleasant and she was easily accessible for questions.
In short: We are very satisfied and wish everyone to enjoy it there. |

We booked Cortijo el Caracol for 2 weeks and it exceeded our expectations. The location is just outside in a quiet area. About a 20-minute drive from a larger town. We felt completely safe and had direct contact with the open-minded nice neighbours. see more
We booked Cortijo el Caracol for 2 weeks and it exceeded our expectations. The location is just outside in a quiet area. About a 20-minute drive from a larger town. We felt completely safe and had direct contact with the open-minded nice neighbours. Yet the house was surrounded by bushes, so you had absolute privacy and tranquillity overlooking the mountains. The house itself is decorated in country house style. We immediately felt at ease. Nothing was missing. Karen is incredibly kind and helpful. She was quick to respond and explained everything in detail. All in all, a lovely holiday that we would love to experience again.

Auto echt nodig vanwege de landelijke ligging. Goede wegen. Omgeving, steden en strand goed te bereiken. Binnen een kwartier leuke restaurantjes waar we echt goed hebben gegeten. Communicatie met Host was erg prettig en ze was goed bereikbaar voor vragen.
Kortom: Wij zijn zeer tevreden en wensen iedereen veel plezier daar. |

We boekten Cortijo el Caracol voor 2 weken en het overtrof onze verwachtingen. De locatie is net buiten in een rustige omgeving. Op ongeveer 20 minuten rijden van een grotere stad. We voelden ons volkomen veilig en hadden direct contact met de open-minded aardige buren. Toch was het huis omringd door struiken, zodat je absolute privacy en rust had met uitzicht op de bergen. Het huis zelf is ingericht in landhuisstijl. We voelden ons meteen op ons gemak. Niets ontbrak. Karen is ontzettend aardig en behulpzaam. Ze was snel bereikbaar en legde alles tot in detail uit. Al met al een heerlijke vakantie die we graag opnieuw willen beleven.
