VILLA LEXY IN PUERTO DEL CARMEN
Villa Lexy is one of those place where you want to spend your holidays. Hidden in the beautiful residential area 'Los Mojones' in Puerto del Carmen you will find Villa Lexy. This holiday home is detached and on one level. In the lava garden full of tropical plants and colorful flowers is also the fenced heated private swimming pool. Although all areas are located on the ground floor, Villa Lexy has a unique roof terrace with a lovely lounge and sea view. Here you will experience lots of tranquility and privacy. Villa Lexy has recently been completely renovated. The villa is ideally located at the end of a cul de sac. The beach of Puerto del Carmen is 1.5 km away and you can easily walk to various restaurants, shops and nice terraces (850 m).
In the beautiful resort of Puerto del Carmen are three golden sandy beaches. The largest beach is Playa Grande, which is located along the boulevard. A relatively less crowded beach is Playa de Pocillos, where you have plenty of space and in proportion a lot more peace. The third beach called Playa de Matagorda extends to the airport and then turns into Playa Honda.
LAYOUT VILLA LEXY
Villa Lexy is a modern single storey villa. The living room is bright and spacious with recessed lighting and comfortable soft leather sofas, wall mounted flat screen TV with internet TV, DVD, i Pod docking station. From the living room you reach the outside terrace through the patio doors. The kitchen is modern equipped with a cooking island with stools, an electric oven with ceramic hob, dishwasher, microwave, fridge/freezer, kettle, toaster, iron and ironing board.
Bedrooms 1 and 2 have a double bed, spacious fitted wardrobes, air conditioning and patio doors to a private terrace with seating. Bedroom 3 has two single beds, spacious fitted wardrobes, air conditioning and patio doors to a private terrace. Bedroom 4 has twin beds, spacious fitted wardrobes, air conditioning and patio doors leading to a raised pool terrace overlooking the sea. Bathroom 1 has a bath, separate shower, sink and toilet. Bathrooms 2,3 and 4 have a shower, sink and toilet. From the kitchen you have access to the outdoor area with washing machine. A characteristic iron spiral staircase leads to the roof terrace.
THE PRIVATE OUTDOORS OF VILLA LEXY
The outdoor living of Villa Lexy is perfect. In addition to a lovely large terrace at the back of the villa, there are also several small private terraces with seating areas. The most beautiful terrace is the roof terrace with a nice lounge and sea view. In addition, there is a nice lounge on the ground floor, dining area for alfresco dining and barbecue. Further on is the heated private swimming pool with sun beds all around. This pool is fenced which makes it particularly safe for the little ones. There is also a snooker table available. Villa Lexy is also suitable for people with walking difficulties (no stairs).

Can only echo what other reviewers have said! This villa is modern, clean and above all spacious. It exceeded our expectations. We had a couple of showery/ chilly days over Christmas but it didn't matter as there was plenty of space inside so weren't tripping over each other. Kitchen was good - most things that you would want. Terrace and deck areas great - always a choice to catch the sun. Great view from roof terrace. Pool wasn't freezing like most you get and we were happy in it on Christmas morning despite the overcast sky. Pool was a good size, quite deep one end, but safely gated. The weather was a little windy at times, which blew the closed parasol over, so just move it somewhere safe if you have young children. Didn't use the TV so can't comment on that. Bit of a hiccup with the wi-fi when we first arrived but I emailed and someone was there sorting it by the time we got back from an exploratory walk the first afternoon. A member of staff also checked in on us the following day to make sure everything was ok - it was - but good friendly attentive service. (The lady also made an excellent recommendation for our Christmas dinner out too - thank you, sorry I've forgotten your name.) Close to supermarket (near enough to get fresh croissants for breakfast every morning) and 8-10 minutes to the harbour, 15-20 mins to the main beach. It's uphill all the way back which may not suit some, but taxis cheap if you don't have a car. Bus stop for many of the island tours is just round the corner at the hotel, 3 mins walk away, which is handy. Washing machine useful. Small bag of items provided to get you started - eg. dishwasher tablets and toilet roll. Also we'd carried pool/beach towels in our suitcases, but found they were all provided as well as bath towels. All in all, would thoroughly recommend this villa. Thanks! - James

We could not recommend this property enough. It is absolutely perfect. The five of us spent a wonderful week here in mixed weather. There was such comfort in the four spacious rooms, each with its own bathroom. The kitchen is outstanding and the sitting area with a large flatscreen tv, sound system etc is very comfortable. The terrace all round the property is delightful, a great place for breakfast. The pool is kept at 29 degrees all the time. Luxurious! There is a cover which you keep on it when not in use which keeps in the heat and keeps out the debris! The pool area is very sheltered with a stunning garden. Then the best of all, the villa is only 6 minutes walk from the centre of town with its myriad shops and 40 Irish bars, let alone all the other nationality bars! We hired a car, as it was the first visit to Lanzarote for all of us. There are excellent trips which are not too far away. The best visit was to Fire Mountain to see the active volcano. But we visited Playa Blanca and had lunch in Princess Yaiza Resort. You must visit Puerto Calero to see the yachts. We had lunch in one of the fish restaurants in Arrieta, which you must do. Lagomar, Omar Sharif's former home, is beautiful and so unusual. Cesar Manrique's home is well worth a visit and the Cactus Garden. We ate great food, visited interesting places and the girls had spectacular night time entertainment. We had some teething problems (usual things - we couldn't get the TV to work and didn't know how to access the wifi) but it was all sorted out with great efficiency. Thank you to everyone, especially the owner, for making it a holiday to remember. None of us wanted to leave! - Sue

Just returned after staying here for a week with my husband and 4 grown up children. It was even better than the site portrayed it. Spotlessly clean. All rooms great sizes and lovely en suites. Outdoor area lovely and swimming pool heated to 29 degresee more
Just returned after staying here for a week with my husband and 4 grown up children. It was even better than the site portrayed it. Spotlessly clean. All rooms great sizes and lovely en suites. Outdoor area lovely and swimming pool heated to 29 degrees which actually felt warm ( have stayed in villas before where they say heated pool but it was still freezing). It took no more than 10 mins walk to the restaurants and shops all down hill. A bit steep on the way back but taxi's were only a few euro if you didn't fancy walking. I would definitely recommend and if I return to Lanzarote I wouldn't want to stay anywhere else. - Roos

We are just into our last day of what has been a wonderful 2 week stay in this villa. Our party was myself and the wife (both 47), son and daughter-in-law both 26 with our granddaughter (just over 1), daughter and her partner (both 19) and my mum (69) Located in a quiet spot of the upmarket Los Mojones area within easy reach of everywhere walking and only €5 in a taxi if walking is an issue. The photos just don’t do the villa justice, it’s huge outside and just the right size inside. Granddaughter loved all the space inside out our to roam Around without too much danger. Surrounded by other large villas but only sound we heard was a dog barking down the road. Pool table gave hours of fun with the standard BBC and ITV channels on the TV should you want to watch that. Was great to stay here and would definitely stay here again. - Jessy

We hadden een paar regenachtige/koude dagen tijdens de kerst, maar dat maakte niet uit, want er was genoeg ruimte binnen en we struikelden niet over elkaar. Keuken was goed - de meeste dingen die je zou willen. Terras en terras waren geweldig - altijd een keuze om van de zon te genieten. Geweldig uitzicht vanaf het dakterras. Het zwembad was niet ijskoud. Zwembad was een goede maat, vrij diep aan één kant, maar veilig omheind. Het weer was soms een beetje winderig, wat de gesloten parasol omver blies, dus zet hem ergens veilig als je jonge kinderen hebt. Ik heb de TV niet gebruikt, dus daar kan ik niets over zeggen. Er was een probleempje met de wi-fi toen we aankwamen, maar ik heb een e-mail gestuurd en er was iemand die het probleem had opgelost toen we terugkwamen van een verkennende wandeling in de eerste middag. Een personeelslid kwam ook de volgende dag kijken of alles in orde was - dat was het ook - maar goede vriendelijke en attente service. (De dame deed ook een uitstekende aanbeveling voor ons kerstdiner - dank u, sorry dat ik uw naam ben vergeten). Dicht bij de supermarkt (dichtbij genoeg om elke ochtend verse croissants voor het ontbijt te halen) en 8-10 minuten naar de haven, 15-20 minuten naar het belangrijkste strand. Het is de hele weg terug bergopwaarts, wat voor sommigen niet geschikt is, maar taxi's zijn goedkoop als je geen auto hebt. Bushalte voor veel van de eiland tours is net om de hoek bij het hotel, 3 minuten lopen, dat is handig. Wasmachine nuttig. Kleine tas met spullen om mee te beginnen - bijv. vaatwastabletten en toiletrol. We hadden ook zwembad-/strandhanddoeken in onze koffers, maar die waren allemaal aanwezig, evenals badhanddoeken. Al met al zou ik deze villa ten zeerste aanbevelen. Bedankt! - James

We kunnen deze woning niet genoeg aanbevelen. Het is absoluut perfect. We hebben hier met z'n vijven een heerlijke week doorgebracht in wisselvallig weer. Er was zoveel comfort in de vier ruime kamers, elk met een eigen badkamer. De keuken is uitstekend en de zithoek met een grote flatscreen-tv, geluidsinstallatie enz. is zeer comfortabel. Het terras rondom het huis is heerlijk, een geweldige plek om te ontbijten. Het zwembad wordt voortdurend op 29 graden gehouden. Luxueus! Er is een afdekking die u erop houdt als u het niet gebruikt, die de warmte binnenhoudt en het vuil buiten houdt! Het zwembad is zeer beschut met een prachtige tuin. Het beste van alles is dat de villa op slechts 6 minuten lopen ligt van het centrum van de stad met zijn talloze winkels. We huurden een auto, want het was voor ons allemaal het eerste bezoek aan Lanzarote. Er zijn uitstekende uitstapjes die niet te ver weg zijn. Het beste bezoek was aan de Vuurberg om de actieve vulkaan te zien. Maar we bezochten ook Playa Blanca en lunchten in Princess Yaiza Resort. Je moet Puerto Calero bezoeken om de jachten te zien. We hebben geluncht in een van de visrestaurants in Arrieta, wat je zeker moet doen. Lagomar, het voormalige huis van Omar Sharif, is prachtig en zo ongewoon. Het huis van Cesar Manrique is een bezoek waard, evenals de Cactustuin. We hebben heerlijk gegeten en interessante plaatsen bezocht. We hadden wat kinderziektes (gebruikelijke dingen - we kregen de tv niet aan de praat en wisten niet hoe we toegang moesten krijgen tot de wifi) maar dat werd allemaal heel efficiënt opgelost. Dank aan iedereen, vooral de eigenaar, om er een onvergetelijke vakantie van te maken. Niemand van ons wilde weg! - Sue

Alle kamers zijn groot en hebben een mooie badkamer. Buitenruimte prachtig en het zwembad verwarmd tot 29 graden. Het was niet meer dan 10 minuten lopen naar de restaurants en winkels. Een beetje steil op de terugweg maar taxi's waren slechts een paar euro als je geen zin had om te lopen. Ik zou het zeker aanraden en als ik weer naar Lanzarote ga zou ik nergens anders willen verblijven. - Roos

Ons gezelschap bestond uit mezelf en mijn vrouw (beiden 47), zoon en schoondochter beiden 26 met onze kleindochter (iets ouder dan 1), dochter en haar partner (beiden 19) en mijn moeder (69). Gelegen in een rustige wijk van het chique Los Mojones gebied met alles binnen handbereik. Slechts €5 in een taxi als lopen een probleem is. De foto's doen de villa geen recht, het is enorm buiten en precies de juiste grootte binnen. Kleindochter hield van alle ruimte binnen om rond te zwerven zonder al te veel gevaar. Omgeven door andere grote villa's maar het enige geluid dat we hoorden was een hond die langs de weg blafte. Pooltafel gaf uren plezier met de standaard BBC en ITV kanalen op de TV mocht je dat willen kijken. Was geweldig om hier te verblijven en zou hier zeker weer verblijven. - Jessy

Cancellation policies
In case of cancellation the following charges will apply
From the booking date until 43 days before check-in
30% of the total rent
From 42 days before check-in until 29 days before check-in
60% of the total rent
From 28 days before until check-in
100% of the total rent
No-show
100% of the total rent
Additional notes
- The agency asks you to contact them a week before arrival to inform them of your plane/ship Nº and the arrival time to arrange key collection.
- We kindly ask you to phone us about your arrival time once you are at your destination.
- During the low-season check in and check-out hours are flexible. Contact the agency to discuss possibilities .
