This detached holiday home with private pool is the perfect place for lovers of space and tranquility. Here you will experience lots of privacy. From the terrace you can enjoy beautiful views of the sea, mountains and the valley. Everywhere are fine lounge and seating areas. There is a covered lounge terrace, a spacious covered veranda with dining area, sun beds around the pool and a lovely lounge bed. Around Casa Balcon de Guardia are fruit trees. Taste the delicious figs and grapes. Taste the Andalusian atmosphere and unwind in Casa Balcon de Guardia. Within a 20-minute drive you can reach the beautiful sandy beaches of Salobrena and Motril. The beautiful city of Granada with the beloved Alhambra is a 45-minute drive away.

The power supply of this holiday home is entirely solar and wind powered. That means using electricity a little differently than most people are used to. There are no appliances that use a lot of power such as air conditioning, a hair dryer, kettle and coffee maker. There are separate fans in every room. And you can make delicious coffee in a bialetti percolator.
LAYOUT CASA BALCON DE GUARDIA
Casa Balcon de Guardia is entirely on one level. The living-dining room with sitting area has two large patio doors to the veranda. There is a television with satellite receiver, home cinema set and DVD player. The open kitchen includes a gas stove (4-burners), refrigerator, freezer, oven, grill, blender, toaster and kitchen utensils. You can make delicious coffee in a bialetti percolator. The nice thing about Casa Balcon de Guardia is that this vacation home has three spacious bedrooms and three bathrooms, two of which are en-suite. All bedrooms have a double bed (200 x 160) and fan. There is a round bathroom en-suite in the tower of the house, a second en-suite bathroom and a separate bathroom. All have a shower, toilet and sink. Board games, books and DVDs are also provided. There is a washing machine, although the owners ask that you only wash (cold or quick program) when the sun is shining and at times when the pool pump is not running (it runs between 12:00 and 14:00). Heating: there is underfloor heating and also a gas stove and wood stove.
THE PRIVATE OUTDOORS OF CASA BALCON DE GUARDIA
The outdoor life here is perfect! You never cease to marvel at the unique panoramic views. On sunny days, enjoy the private pool and lounge bed around the pool. If you are looking to cool off you can relax in the hammock or in the lounge under the spacious porch. There is a parasol and outdoor shower. There is also an outdoor toilet. Surrounding the terrace is a beautiful garden. Further away is a jeu de boules court. On the barbecue (gas) you can enjoy cooking outside. In the evening the garden is beautifully lit and you can see the twinkling lights of the villages in the distance. There is a private driveway with space for four cars.

What an amazing vacation this was! We wanted peace and family time. Well that absolutely succeeded here. The house is somewhat secluded, but because of that you have super nice views and lots of peace and quiet. The children could play in the beautifsee more

The house is somewhat secluded, but because of that you have super nice views and lots of peace and quiet. The children could play in the beautiful swimming pool. In the house you lack nothing. Really it is fully equipped. The road from the village to the house is bumpy and you have to drive slowly, but you quickly get used to that and is fine. The various fantastic stands are easily accessible and you can eat delicious and affordable food. We could go here again in a heartbeat. Highly recommended! - Family van der Wijk

We loved it! We 2 couples obviously had it very spacious here. Enjoyed simple but super cozy decor and we had "wow" feeling every time we walked outside! We did go out almost all days but t morning sunshine / evening sunshine (May 13/20) Top. Just a see more

We did go out almost all days but t morning sunshine / evening sunshine (May 13/20) Top. Just a splash in the lovely pool, a game of fanatic boule on bumpy boule track with a drink and then delicious at large table on porch enjoying long evening with barbecue, snacks and company. Everything in the kitchen is available. We had 1 time a little fresh shower water. The road is long and bumpy but not scary and get used. (There is a faster route (navigation also indicates) but then you must have powerful car and no fear hare). Landlords very friendly and with questions . fast response. We will remember this place , while we actually never go back to the same area! From here many different environments to discover from winding mountain roads to sea, from picturesque villages to nice cities. - Joanneke

We hebben een heerlijk rustig verblijf gehad in deze mooie villa. Erg ruim en sfeervol ingericht. We vonden verkoeling in en rond het zwembad, alle ruimte om te lezen, chillen of spelletjes te spelen. Het ligt vrij afgelegen dus noodzakelijk om voldosee more
We hebben een heerlijk rustig verblijf gehad in deze mooie villa. Erg ruim en sfeervol ingericht. We vonden verkoeling in en rond het zwembad, alle ruimte om te lezen, chillen of spelletjes te spelen. Het ligt vrij afgelegen dus noodzakelijk om voldoende boodschappen in te slaan. Maar daar tegenover staat een adembenemend uitzicht vanaf Balcon de Guardia.
Met 3 pubers was het een aangenaam verblijf, met veel mooie bezichtigingen en activiteiten op rij afstand. Een (huur) auto is hier echt noodzaak. Fijn contact met zowel de beheerder als de eigenaar van de villa. Prima service! |

Veel fijne hoekjes, zitjes, banken en bedden om te ontspannen, in de zon of onder 1 van de vele parasols. De bewoonde wereld en reuring (strand, winkels, stad) is nooit echt ver weg.

Wat was dit een super vakantie! Wij wilden rust en tijd voor het gezin. Nou dat is absoluut gelukt hier. Het huis ligt enigszins afgelegen, maar daardoor heb je super mooi uitzicht en veel rust. De kinderen konden naar harteloos in het mooie en groetsee more
Wat was dit een super vakantie! Wij wilden rust en tijd voor het gezin. Nou dat is absoluut gelukt hier. Het huis ligt enigszins afgelegen, maar daardoor heb je super mooi uitzicht en veel rust. De kinderen konden naar harteloos in het mooie en groet zwembad spelen. In het huis ontbreekt het je aan niets. Echt het is van alle gemakken voorzien. De weg vanuit het dorp naar het huis is hobbelig en moet je rustig rijden, maar daar ben je snel aan gewend en is prima te doen. De diverse fantastische standjes zijn goed bereikbaar en je kan er heerlijk en betaalbaar eten.

Wij hebben genoten! Wij 2 stellen hadden het hier natuurlijk heel ruim. Genoten van simpele maar super sfeervolle inrichting en wij hadden keer op keer “wauw” gevoel als we naar buiten liepen! Wij zijn wel bijna alle dagen op pad geweest maar t ochtesee more
Wij hebben genoten! Wij 2 stellen hadden het hier natuurlijk heel ruim. Genoten van simpele maar super sfeervolle inrichting en wij hadden keer op keer “wauw” gevoel als we naar buiten liepen! Wij zijn wel bijna alle dagen op pad geweest maar t ochtend zonnetje/ avond zonnetje (13/20 mei) Top. Nog even plonsje in het heerlijke zwembad, potje fanatiek boulen op hobbelige boulebaan met drankje erbij en dan heerlijk aan grote tafel op veranda genieten van lange avond met barbecue , hapjes en gezelschap. Alles in keuken ruim aanwezig. Wij hadden 1 keer een beetje fris douchewater. Het weggetje is lang en hobbelig maar niet eng en went. (Er is een snellere route ( geeft navigatie ook aan) maar dan moet je wel krachtige auto hebben en geen angsthaas zijn.) Verhuurders zeer vriendelijk en bij vragen .. snelle reactie. Wij gaan dit plekje onthouden , terwijl we eigenlijk nooit terug gaan naar zelfde gebied! Van hier uit veel verschillende omgevingen te ontdekken van slingerende bergweggetjes tot zee, van pittoreske dorpjes tot leuke steden. - Joanneke
