FINCA ARUCAS HOLIDAY HOME IN ARUCAS
Finca Arucas with a heated private pool is wonderfully hidden between the fruit trees in the rural north of Gran Canaria. Finca Arucas is a place that guarantees an unforgettable holiday with the whole family or several families. Once through the gate of the driveway, tranquillity radiates from your surroundings. In the spacious garden is a lawn with a heated private swimming pool in the middle. The large outdoor barbecue can be used to prepare easy meals. Play a game of tennis on your own tennis court next to the Finca, discover the banana bunches in the adjacent banana plantation or just relax at the pool.
The beautiful beach 'Las Canteras' and the lively city of Las Palmas are located a 15-minute drive away. You will experience the best of both worlds here: peace and privacy of your own Finca and also the possibility to look up the liveliness of the city in no time. Within a five minute drive, you reach the old centre of Arucas with, among other things, a number of atmospheric restaurants.
On the same estate are Finca del Norte and Finca Esmeralda located. Both detached fincas with their own private heatable pools and private entrance. The fincas are within walking distance of each other. Perfect to combine for large parties. If you rent all three fincas, you can stay on the estate with up to 26 people.
LAYOUT OF FINCA ARUCAS
The living area of Finca Arucas is located on the first floor. A friendly and very hospitable couple lives in the apartment on the ground floor. They fully respect your privacy.
Finca Arucas has a spacious living room with a sitting area, dining table, fireplace and plenty of light. The large windows give a great view of the azure blue sea. The kitchen is fully equipped, including an electric hob, dishwasher, oven, refrigerator, microwave, freezer, toaster, kettle, coffee machine and more than enough kitchenware. There is also a separate room on the loft with several comfortable sofas, a television and a DVD player. There are four bedrooms on the first floor of the Finca. Two with a double bed and two with two single beds. There are three bathrooms with a shower. All bedrooms are very spacious and have beautiful ceilings with traditional wooden beams. There is also wifi, a washing machine and a dryer.
THE OUTDOORS OF FINCA ARUCAS
The apartment in the garden has a fifth bedroom with a double bed and ensuite bathroom with shower, toilet and sink. The outdoors of Finca Arucas is perfect. On the first floor is a lovely partly covered sun terrace. At the back of the Finca are the tennis court, the banana plantation and the vegetable garden. The spacious lawn in front of the Finca is ideal for children to play or play a game of football. In the middle of the garden is the lovely private swimming pool that can also be heated. You'll find the outdoor barbecue in the garden.

We rented this villa for remote work and also as a base for our trips around the island. So we were looking for place suitable for bigger group of people working/coding/be on calls, with enough space and good internet. We found most of it here and ensee more
We rented this villa for remote work and also as a base for our trips around the island. So we were looking for place suitable for bigger group of people working/coding/be on calls, with enough space and good internet. We found most of it here and enjoyed ourselves a lot! Plenty of outside and inside common areas to sit together to eatwork. Two main bedrooms with double beds were full of light and good for some privacy for workchill, two smaller bedrooms with single beds were bit darker with no natural light so it was used mainly for sleeping but colleagues had other options to find a nice spot around the vila to work. Very nice was outside seating zone around the grill and we used a tennis court as well. Garden was beautiful and I am pretty sure we would use it more including the pool if the weather would be a bit warmer. We also got a tour around the property to learn about banana fields from the owners and we recommend you to do it too. The owner sat down with us afterwards and recommended places and restaurants to visit. When it comes to the location, please be prepared that it is not located in city centerin some busy entertaining city full of night life and it is not very “walking” friendly. In this area it is common to get around by car/scooters, so definitely rent a car for your trips/shopping/dining. There are no pavements, only zigzag narrow roads and it did not feel the safest for walking/running. If you’re looking for a nice clean well equipped place for bigger group of friends/colleaguesfamily, this is your spot. Enjoy as we did

This house was even better than we expected. So many dining & chill out areas for a large group. Also the pool is separate from the house- which was ideal for us travelling with a small child. Our kids loved the trees near the BBQ area, and the tennisee more

Our kids loved the trees near the BBQ area, and the tennis court. We loved the garden with all the fruit trees, and the walkway around the pool. The balcony terrace was great for sunset dinners. The owner Pino gave us a tour of the fruit farm and great local recommendations. A little slice of heaven hidden from the road!

We huurden deze villa voor werk op afstand en ook als uitvalsbasis voor onze trips over het eiland. We zochten dus een plek die geschikt was voor een grotere groep mensen die werkten/coderden/bellen, met genoeg ruimte en goed internet. Het meeste vonden we hier en we hebben ons prima vermaakt! Genoeg gemeenschappelijke ruimtes binnen en buiten om samen te eten of te werken. Twee grote slaapkamers met tweepersoonsbedden waren vol licht en goed voor wat privacy om te werken of te chillen, twee kleinere slaapkamers met eenpersoonsbedden waren wat donkerder met geen natuurlijk licht dus het werd voornamelijk gebruikt om te slapen, maar collega's hadden andere opties om een mooi plekje rond de vila te vinden om te werken. Erg leuk was de zitzone buiten rond de grill en we hebben ook gebruik gemaakt van de tennisbaan. De tuin was prachtig en ik weet zeker dat we er meer gebruik van zouden maken, inclusief het zwembad, als het wat warmer weer zou zijn. We kregen ook een rondleiding over het landgoed om meer te leren over de bananenvelden van de eigenaren en we raden je aan om dit ook te doen. De eigenaar ging na afloop met ons zitten en raadde ons plaatsen en restaurants aan om te bezoeken. Als het gaat om de locatie, wees er dan op voorbereid dat het niet in het centrum ligt of in een drukke vermakelijke stad vol nachtleven en het is niet erg “wandel” vriendelijk. In dit gebied is het gebruikelijk om je te verplaatsen met auto's/scooters, dus huur zeker een auto voor je uitstapjes/shoppen/dineren. Er zijn geen trottoirs, alleen zigzag smalle weggetjes en het voelde niet het veiligst om te wandelen of hard te lopen. Als je op zoek bent naar een mooie, schone en goed uitgeruste plek voor een grotere groep vrienden/collega's of familie, dan is dit je plek.

Dit huis was nog beter dan we hadden verwacht. Zoveel eet- en ontspanningsruimtes voor een grote groep. Ook het zwembad is gescheiden van het huis- wat ideaal was voor ons op reis met een klein kind. Onze kinderen hielden van de bomen bij de BBQ en dsee more
Dit huis was nog beter dan we hadden verwacht. Zoveel eet- en ontspanningsruimtes voor een grote groep. Ook het zwembad is gescheiden van het huis- wat ideaal was voor ons op reis met een klein kind. Onze kinderen hielden van de bomen bij de BBQ en de tennisbaan. We hielden van de tuin met alle fruitbomen en het looppad rond het zwembad. Het balkonterras was geweldig voor diners bij zonsondergang. De eigenaar Pino gaf ons een rondleiding over het fruitbedrijf en geweldige lokale aanbevelingen.
