VILLA LAURA HOLIDAY HOME IN ALHAURIN EL GRANDE
Villa Laura is a modern villa with private pool in Andalusia. The long driveway leads to this vacation villa with a beautiful garden full of colourful flowers, a nice private swimming pool and a beautiful view of the surroundings. From the large roof terrace you can enjoy the beautiful sunsets. Villa Laura is tastefully and stylishly furnished by the owner. Children will also have the time of their lives here. This location, combined with the beautiful decor and facilities, makes Villa Laura the ideal vacation villa for families with children or couples who value their privacy.
The authentic village of Alhaurin el Grande, located at the foot of the Sierra de Mijas is nearby. Here is a supermarket, several squares and terraces. Alhaurin el Grande is not overrun by tourists but has retained its Spanish character. Golfers can indulge themselves at Alhaurín Golf. This spectacular golf course is a 5 minute drive away. Because of its location at 200 metres from the general facilities of the vacation park 'La Granja de Antonio' with playground, restaurant and swimming pool, Villa Laura is the ideal combination between privacy and social contacts.
Tip: enjoy delicious fresh fish in the nice restaurant nearby called 'Casa Paco'. With a bit of luck the fish is brought in fresh by the fisherman and you can choose your own fish.
LAYOUT VILLA LAURA
Via the spacious outside terrace you walk through the sliding doors into the cosy living room with fireplace, Dutch satellite television and Home cinema system with CD and Blue Ray. The modern open kitchen is equipped with a refrigerator, freezer, microwave, electric stove (4 rings), dishwasher, oven, toaster, coffee maker and sufficient kitchen utensils. On the first floor is bedroom 1 with a double bed, en suite bathroom and doors to the outdoor terrace. Bathroom 1 has a bath, sink and toilet. Bathroom 2 has a shower, toilet and sink. Upstairs are two more bedrooms. Bedroom 2 has two single beds. Bedroom 3 has a double bed and doors to the spacious roof terrace. On the top floor there is also bathroom 3 with a whirlpool bath, sink and toilet.
For people with mobility problems, the house is a bit less suitable. This is because the whole villa is a bit crooked and has a slope of about 2%. We therefore sometimes call the house villa Pisa. In general, this does not bother you much and is more than compensated by the luxury, comfort and appearance of the villa.
Villa Laura also has air conditioning and central heating in all rooms. Villa Laura is well insulated and the central heating in all rooms makes this villa comfortable even in the winter months.
THE PRIVATE OUTDOORS OF VILLA LAURA
At the front of the villa you'll find a lovely private pool, a large outdoor barbecue and a patio with garden furniture and lounge chairs. The garden is a wonderful place to unwind. You are surrounded by beautiful flowers and plants and you can hear many birds singing. Near the pool is a fourth toilet. Apart from the large swimming pool, the small vacation park 'La Granja de Antonio' with various playing facilities is at walking distance from the villa. The surface area of Villa Laura is about 200 m2 and the private property belonging to the villa is about 5000 m2.

Het huis staat in zijn geheel scheef op het perceel incl.zwembad! Dit hebben we nergens gelezen in de info. Dit merk je goed als je in/rond het huis loopt en de deuren dichtklappen die niet op een wigje staan. Wellicht dat de scheuren in de muren en see more

Dit merk je goed als je in/rond het huis loopt en de deuren dichtklappen die niet op een wigje staan. Wellicht dat de scheuren in de muren en verzakte tuinomheining hier ook mee te maken hebben. De foto's op de website mogen eenhebben, want inrichting meubilair komt niet helemaal meer overeen. Schoonmaak in huis kon beter. Optisch schoongemaakt, maar nog veel stof etc. overal. Teflonlagen in de 2 koekenpannen zo aangetast, dat we om nieuwe pannen hebben verzocht. Dit werd goed opgelost door gelijk vervanging. Evenals de kapotte buitenverlichting die werd gemaakt. Echter de ophaallinten van de rolluiken zijn zo versleten waardoor ze zijn geknapt bij het rolluik van de tuindeuren op de slaapkamer. Dit kon tijdens ons 3 weekse verblijf niet opgelost worden en hebben we deze deuren niet kunnen openen, helaas. De andere rolluiken hebben we maar voorzichtig gebruikt of zélfs helemaal niet.
Matige internetverbinding. Slechte ligbedden bij het zwembad. Zeker 3 bedden gebroken en met schroeven aan onderkant provisorisch hersteld. Er zijn schaduwplekken op de veranda, maar er zij géén parasols aanwezig waardoor je aan het zwembad niet in schaduw kunt zitten.De buitenste (donkergrijze) terrastegels op het perceel rond het zwembad zijn zeer glad met natte voeten, maar ook heel scheef door de hele aflopende ligging en opstaande randjes. We zijn wegens covid een tijd niet in Andalusie geweest. Toen we wilden gaan werden onze vluchten geannuleerd. Begin volgend jaar bezoeken we onze huizen in Andalusie weer en bekijken dan ook nauwkeurig wat er verbeterd moet worden. Over het scheve huis geeft de eigenaar het volgende aan: 'Voor mensen die niet goed ter been zijn is het huis wat minder geschikt. De hele villa ligt namelijk een beetje scheef en heeft een helling van ca. 2%. We noemen het huis dan ook wel eens villa Pisa. Over het algemeen heb je er weining last van en wordt dit kleine ongemak ruimschoots gecompenseerd door de luxe, het comfort en uitstraling van de villa.' Bij aankomst worden we erg gastvrij ontvangen! Onder het genot van een drankje kregen we uitleg over onze villa en werd de administratie afgehandeld. Daarna ging de beheerder ons voor naar onze villa, wat een droomhuis op een droomplek. We hebben onssee more
