VILLA EL PATIO HOLIDAY HOME IN EL RISCO
This detached villa with private pool in Gran Canaria is located in the small village El Risco in the middle of the beautiful N.P. Tamadaba. In this eco-friendly villa you will experience 100% privacy. Within walking distance of this holiday home you will find a tiny bar and a small supermarket. The nice fishing village Agaete is about a 15-minute drive away. Here you can enjoy the freshest fish on the island. The beautiful cliff coasts along the coastal road and the lava beach can also be reached in no time. The green and rugged interior with hiking opportunities and small villages can be reached in less than an hour by rental car.
LAYOUT VILLA EL PATIO
Villa El Patio has a wonderful quiet location and a magnificent view of the surroundings. The owners have furnished this villa with great passion and care. This is reflected in all the special details that are used. The villa has a living room with two sofas and a very spacious bedroom with two single beds (90 x 180). Fly screens are provided on the windows. The bathroom has a shower, toilet, and sink. The kitchen is very well and neatly furnished, including 4 electric hobs, a fridge, an oven, and a coffee maker. There is also a separate tap for drinking water in the kitchen. This water is filtered and can therefore simply be drunk. That way, you don't have to buy separate bottles of drinking water.
OUTDOOR LIVING AT VILLA EL PATIO IN EL RISCO
Through the patio doors of the living room you enter the great garden with swimming pool, sun beds, outdoor shower, and seating areas. Here you experience 100% privacy. There is also a garden with fruit trees. There is a semi-covered terrace with barbecue, table, and chairs on the other side of the villa; it is a lovely place for breakfast. The villa is accessible via a narrow walking path. Keep this in mind when you bring your luggage.

The vacation was very satisfactory. The casita was beautiful, stylishly decorated, much more spacious than you can see from the pictures and quietly located among the locals. It also had a beautiful garden with exotic plants and fruit trees and a versee more
The vacation was very satisfactory. The casita was beautiful, stylishly decorated, much more spacious than you can see from the pictures and quietly located among the locals. It also had a beautiful garden with exotic plants and fruit trees and a very nice view of the green mountains. There is a small store in the village where you can do your daily shopping (bread, spreads, fruit, etc) and at 14 km distance lies Agaete, a somewhat larger town with a Spar and where you can get more. Fortunately, I did not have the idea of having ended up in a tourist factory. It was not the warmest part of the island, there were often clouds, so the temperature in the evening and morning was often such that you needed some warmer clothes. But I found that quite pleasant. Furthermore, the interior is also very beautiful and green, you can make nice trips by car where, because of the beautiful surroundings, it is sometimes difficult to keep your eyes on the road. There are also many possibilities for walking, but we should have prepared ourselves better, because the maps and directions that we had taken were not always correct. The beaches in the south can be reached by car via the freeway within 1 1/2 hours. In short, highly recommended for people who are looking for peace and quiet and do not want to lie on the beach all day and / or throw themselves into the nightlife.

De vakantie is erg naar wens geweest. De casita was prachtig, stijlvol ingericht, veel ruimer dan je aan de hand van de foto´s vooraf kunt zien en rustig gelegen tussen de lokale bevolking. Het had verder een prachtige tuin met exotische planten en fsee more
De vakantie is erg naar wens geweest. De casita was prachtig, stijlvol ingericht, veel ruimer dan je aan de hand van de foto´s vooraf kunt zien en rustig gelegen tussen de lokale bevolking. Het had verder een prachtige tuin met exotische planten en fruitbomen en met een erg mooi uitzicht op de groene bergen. Er is in het dorpje een klein winkeltje waar je de dagelijkse boodschappen kunt doen (brood, beleg, fruit, etc) en op 14 km afstand ligt Agaete, een wat grotere plaats waar een Spar is en waar wat meer te krijgen is. Ik had gelukkig niet het idee in een toeristenfabriek terechtgekomen te zijn. Het was niet het warmste deel van het eiland, er hing daar regelmatig bewolking, waardoor de temperatuur vooral ´s avonds en ´s ochtends vaak zodanig was dat je wat warmere kleding nodig had. Maar dat vond ik juist wel prettig. Verder is het binnenland ook erg mooi en groen, je kunt er mooie tochten met de auto maken waarbij het, vanwege de prachtige omgeving, soms moeilijk is je ogen op de weg te houden. Ook veel wandelmogelijkheden, alleen hadden we ons daar beter op moeten voorbereiden, want de kaarten en routebeschrijvingen die we, wat wandelen betreft, hadden meegenomen klopten niet altijd. De stranden in het zuiden zijn met de auto via de snelweg binnen 1 1/2 uur te bereiken. Kortom, echt een aanrader voor mensen die op zoek zijn naar rust en niet de hele dag op het strand willen liggen en/of zich in het uitgaansleven willen storten.
